The Rotary Club of Dallas-Uptown's Dictionary Project kicks off its 2017 season at Onesimo Hernandez Elementary. All of the third graders at this school received a copy of a dictionary and a pen. This is always an exciting event for the students, but we Rotarians generally leave each event feeling happy about our participation in this worthwhile program. This year, 20 DISD schools are scheduled to participate, with over 1800 dictionary distributed the third grader students attending each school.
